In the fourth quarter of 2024, the air travel app sector in the Netherlands saw varied performances on the Android platform. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights key trends in downloads and active user engagement for the top five apps.

KLM - Book a flight experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 3.7K in early October and dropping to approximately 2.5K by the end of December. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 45K and 52K throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker maintained a steady weekly revenue, peaking at $2.5K in mid-October before settling around $1.8K in December. Downloads followed a downward trend from 4.1K to 2.5K, while active users decreased from nearly 100K to 83K.

Schiphol Amsterdam Airport saw a consistent drop in downloads from 3.2K to 2K. However, active users showed an upward trend, increasing from 39K to 40K towards the end of the quarter.

Transavia also experienced a decline in downloads, starting at 3.5K and ending at 2.1K, with active users showing variability, ranging from 21K to 23K.

Ryanair recorded a decrease in downloads from 2.8K to 1.6K. The app's active users fluctuated, starting at 37K, peaking at 38K in mid-October, and then decreasing to 30K by the end of December.
